Welcome Back!

For the families new to the school, welcome to Highlands Elementary and to the returning families welcome back!  Your Highlands Parent Advisory Council (HPAC) is looking forward to starting yet another exciting and new school year.  Stay tuned to the many announcements HPAC will be sending out in the next month.  In the meantime, here are some important dates to take note of already!

First HPAC meeting is Tues Sept 15th, 7pm

We encourage all Highlands parents to regularly attend HPAC meetings as a great way to become more involved with the school, stay informed and meet other Highlands parents. HPAC meetings are normally held every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the school library, with complimentary babysitting available in the school during the meeting time.

New Parent Tea & Info Session

New to Highlands Elementary? Meet the HPAC Executives and other new Highlands parents on Wednesday September 16th at TBDpm in the library to learn about HPAC and life at Highlands!

Now Accepting HPAC Event/Budget Proposals for 2015-16

Do you have a great idea for a new HPAC-sponsored event or program? The Proposal Form for HPAC Sponsored Activities/Items is used to submit a request for funds and/or materials for an HPAC-sponsored event or program.

Proposal forms must be submitted prior to the HPAC Budget Meeting (Oct 6, 2015). Completed forms are due by Monday Sept 21, 2015 so as to allow enough time to be included in the 2015-2016 budget. You may submit completed forms into the HPAC box by the office or via email to HPAC@wildapricot.org.

Click here to watch the video, “like it”, and share it. And ask those you share it with to do the same. The video's producers want to launch a thousand Club G’s, because it’s not only good for the child who needs it, it’s good for all of us.
